The Louth and District branch of CAMRA has over 100 members in the Louth district, with a vibrant social side culminating in the annual Louth Beer Festival, now in its 16 year. As well as regular meetings, held in a variety of pubs, the branch organises regular Friday evening coach trips to pubs right across the district. This is a great boon for those who would otherwise have to drive. It means you can explore the many delightful hostelries across the county, and sample plenty of ales, knowing you will get a lift back.
Louth is particularly well-placed for real ales, with more than a dozen atmospheric hostelries within the town serving hand-pulled beer, and 10 recommended by the Good Beer Guide. There are dozens more great pubs in the district, and if you really want to get to know them in good company and convivial surrounding, you cannot do better than join us.
CAMRA is also the best place to find local pub news, and you can find it all here.
